Leasing a used car: frequently asked questions
Are the cars used or new?
This website offers used cars for sale. You can get a used car on private lease within one day of ordering.

What does it take to get a credit decision?
You must be at least 21 years old and not in arrears.
What is included in the lease?
Drivalia is responsible for financing the Vehicle and its equipment. The vehicle is equipped with a set of winter tyres and rims supplied by a Drivalia contract partner.
Drivalia is liable for the depreciation and resale value of the Vehicle, as well as for maintenance, repair and tyre costs arising from normal use in accordance with clause 3.1. This includes the following maintenance, repair and tyre services provided by Drivalia’s contracted partner:
- Periodic maintenance and inspections
- Maintenance programme measures carried out in the context of periodic maintenance
- Repairs of technical faults (normal wear and tear) and broken fuses and replacement of wiper blades
- Replacement, replacement and seasonal replacement of summer and winter tyres supplied with the vehicle due to normal wear and tear
- Temporary maintenance replacement car (A class / 1 day per service / max 100 km per day)
- Tyre storage at Drivalia’s contract partners
- What additional services can be included in the contract: Low-cost transport and comprehensive insurance
What is not included in the lease?
Vehicle tax, fuel/charging, car wash: Any non-contractual measures must be paid directly by the customer at the service point of a Drivalia partner.

Used leased cars cannot be renewed. The car must be returned on the day of expiry of the contract or, if it is a Saturday or a public holiday, on the next working day.
What should I do when the contract period is about to expire?
We will contact you regarding the end of the contract approximately 1-3 months before the end of the car contract. Please read the return instructions here in the “car return” section.
You can drive your car around the Nordic countries without worry. If you are planning to travel outside the Nordic countries, please contact Drivalia Customer Service well in advance to obtain the necessary documents and ensure insurance cover.

Accidents and damage – guidelines:
Fill in a damage report for any damage to your car, even minor damage, as soon as you notice it. Damage reported too late may not be covered by insurance companies. All damage repairs must be carried out by a Drivalia approved repairer.Further instructions can be found herein the “Damage, claims and insurance” section. For assistance on the road, please contact Drivalia Roadside Assistance on 0207 420 899. Calling the number is free of charge. Please note that roadside assistance (e.g. towing) is subject to a charge.
- I will follow the maintenance programme and Drivalia’s instructions, and act in accordance with the terms of the contract.
- I check the engine oil and coolant regularly when I have an internal combustion engine car. The car owner’s manual tells me how to do this. If necessary, I contact the Drivalia service number on 0207 420 900.
- I will immediately report any damage to the car here, regardless of who caused the damage.
- I will repair the pebbles on the windscreen soon. If the windscreen has already cracked, the glass should be replaced.-Damage to the windscreen is covered by the insurance in force.
- I made sure that the tyre pressures are in accordance with the car’s owner’s manual.
- I make sure that my car is inspected on time, as an uninspected car is immediately banned from driving.
